We provide ‘Help for Today’ in the programs and services that we offer and ‘Hope for Tomorrow’ with our on-going commitment to fund research for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
General Donation
If you wish to contribute to the Society, you may contact us directly or mail your donation to the Elgin-St. Thomas office at the address provided on our Contact page.
Membership
Being a member has many benefits, such as voting rights at the Annual General Meeting and a tax creditable receipt. In addition, you will be supporting our programs and services, receive newsletters and notices of upcoming events, conferences and meetings.
President Member – $50/per yr, Individual - $20/per yr., Senior or Student – $15/per yr.
Special Events
Participation at our events increases awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and the services that we provide to the community. Donations from individuals and businesses help to make our events a success.
Third Party Events
If you, your company, or service club are planning an event, you can help our cause by naming the Alzheimer Society Elgin-St. Thomas your charity of choice.
In Memory
Upon the time of death, some individuals or families have graciously chosen our organization as their charity of choice for memorial donations.
Leaving a Legacy
A program to raise awareness of the importance of thoughtful, well-planned, tax-preferred gifts and their impact on the quality of life for those with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias in our community. These gifts can include: bequests in wills, life insurance, RRSPs and RRIFs, gift annuities, charitable trusts, stock and securities and endowment funds.
